Maybe you have plenty of ideas, but getting started feels hard. Maybe you're exhausted from trying to keep up. Here, we make room for your experience and find practical steps that fit your life.
Explore what gets in your way, what helps you thrive, and the expectations you've been carrying.
Get curious about your strengths, values and needs. Build confidence in who you are beneath the mask.
Try realistic routines, small steps and supportive accountability. Adjust together as you learn what works.
Both offer space to feel heard and understood. There can be overlap, but their focus and approach can differ.
Counselling can help you explore emotions, experiences and patterns, including how the past affects you now. Depending on the approach, it can also offer coping strategies and support with changes you want to make.
We focus on what matters to you now and what you want to work towards. Together, we explore your values and key strengths, then build practical coping strategies that work with your brain and your everyday life.
We break goals into bite-sized pieces so they feel less overwhelming and more doable. I offer encouragement, motivation and supportive accountability, helping you take the next step at a pace that works for you.
I've had a lot of counselling in the past. In my own experience, I didn't always feel fully understood or come away with the coping strategies I needed for everyday life. That experience helped shape the kind of support I wanted to offer through ADHD Aligned.
I want you to feel heard and understood, and to leave our sessions with practical steps you can try. We'll work together towards your goals, drawing on your strengths and what matters most to you.
Everyone's experience is different. Coaching and counselling can complement each other; coaching does not replace counselling or mental health treatment.

I founded ADHD Aligned because I wanted to understand my own brain. I wanted to know why strategies that seemed so simple for other people didn't always work for me.
Learning about ADHD helped me see that I wasn't broken. I needed understanding and ways to work with my brain, rather than constantly pushing against it.
Now, as an ADHD coach, I offer that space to others: somewhere to feel heard, explore who you are, and take steps towards a life that reflects what matters to you.

No. You can come with a specific goal, or simply a feeling that something needs to change. We can take time to untangle that together.
It's an initial conversation about your needs and how coaching works. You can ask questions and decide whether Michaela's approach feels like a good fit before committing.
Both can support self-understanding and change. Counselling can explore emotional experiences and patterns, while my coaching focuses on your values, strengths, practical coping strategies and manageable steps towards your goals.
